STOK KANGRI

A fine trekking peak in Ladakh and an excellent introduction to climbing in the Himalaya . 6123 mts/ Grade 1 A

Stok Kangri is one of the main peaks of the Zanskar range , situated in the fascinating region of Ladakh . The south Ridge provides an exhilarating climb in these fantastic surroundings . Although straightforward , the route is challenging and interesting , providing stunning views of the Karakoram Range and on a clear day , even K2 in the far distance .

Duration : 18 Days
Best Time : July through to September
Highest Point : Stok Kangri Top ( 6123Mts. )
Base Camp at : 5230mts.
Technical Difficulty : Low - angle snow or straight forward scrambling on rocks . Ropes / crampons are not usually required . Previous climbing experience is not essential .
Fitness : Good basic fitness , Average rucksack weight 5/6 kg .
To join the menthok expedition you need the following specialist equipment : Ice axe , Crampons , harness, Plastic or Leather Mountaineering Boots , 4 season Sleeping bag .

Route : Delhi - Leh - Lamayuru - Ripchar Valley - Konse La - Sumdochenmo - Dungduchenia - Leh - Matho River Valley - Stok Kangri Base camp - Stok - Leh - Delhi - Agra - Delhi .

shangai laHidden in the Himalayas between India and Tibet , lie the magical Kingdoms of Sikkim and Bhutan , which until recently , were closed to the outside world . Steeped in religion , ancient traditions and ancestral customs , these gentle mountain lands retain the charms of a bygon age .

Duration : 12 Days
Best Time : Mid May to June & October to Mid November .
Focus : High Peaks , rolling hills , flowers , birds , culture , temple & Vilalges.
Physical Challenge : Some days are demanding , but overall the trek is moderate .

Route : Kolkata - Bagdogra - Darjeeling - Gangtok - Phuntsholing - Thimphu - Paro - Kolkata .

A trek to the source of the river Ganges , the most sacred river in India and to the Base camp of the towering and majestic Shivling ( 6543mts ) . The Journey takes us through bustling pilgrim centers , dense blue pine forests and flowering meadows . This superb holiday comes to an end with a delightful stay in the hill station of Musoorie .

Best Time : Mid May to June and Mid September to Mid November
Highest Point : Tapovan ( 4450Mts.)
Focus : High Peaks , River Ganges , flowers , temples & Villages
Physical Challenge : Moderate overall , but can be exhausting , when approaching Tapovan Meadows .

Route : Delhi - Rishikesh - Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Bhojbasa - Gaumukh - Tapovan - Kirti Bamack - Tapovan - Meru Glacier - Tapovan - Nandanvan - Vasuki tal - Nandanvan - Gaumukh - Gangotri - Uttarkashi - Mussoorie - Delhi .
