Trekking in Arunachal Pradesh``The sound rises up to heaven above the earth; she stirs up with splendor her endless power. As from a cloud, the showers thunder forth, when the Sindhu comes, roaring like a bull&
Sparkling, bright with mighty splendor she carries the water across the plains& the unconquered Sindhu, the quickest of the quick, like a sbeautiful mare&a sight to see.
Rich in horse, in chariots, in garments, in gold, in booty, in wool, and in straw, the Sindhu, handsome (young) clothes herself in sweet flowers (ARYAN HYMN)

Outline programme: -
Day 1. Leh: - Arrive Leh airport, assistance transfer you to Hotel. Day rest for acclimatization. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2. Day excursions to PATHAR SAHIB (Guru Dwara) 24 km 1Hr drive enroute visit Hall of Fame (a tribute to the valiant soldiers) Phyang & Spituk monasteries. Overnight ins hotel.

Day 3. After breakfast visit Shey to attend the Sidhu Darshan programe. Later visit Stok Palace museum and back to Leh. O/n hotel.

Sindhu Darshan
Sindhu Darshan Festival, as the name suggests, is a celebration of River Sindhu, also known as the Indus, the river that gave India its name. This annual festival is held every June at Leh and Ladakh.

The mighty Sindhu (Indus) river symbolizes the power and permanence of the ancient Indian civilization, which evolved over a period of thousands of years. The archaeological discovery of the Indus Valley civilization, which flourished along its banks, has reinforced the antiquity of the Indian civilization.

About the Indus Festival : The Sindhu Darshan Festival aims at projecting the Sindhu as a symbol of multi-dimensional cultural identity, communal harmony and peaceful co-existence in India.

Day 4. Attend the second day of the festival. Later visit Shey and Thiksey. O/n hotel.

Day 5. Khardungla Pass: - Morning after breakfast drive 2 hrs to world highest motorable road Khardungla 18380 feet above sea level. Enjoy the outstanding view of Karakuram Mountains, Indus & Nubra valley. Later drive back to Leh for overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6. Day free for your personal activities. Overnight in hotel

Day 7. Fly back: - Early morning assistance transfer you to airport for your flight to home.
